Q. Are there any additional move in costs?
A. Yes. There is a one time $15 Administration fee – save with our internet coupon. There is also a $5 cleaning deposit. The cleaning deposit is refundable on the day you vacate as long as the unit you are vacating has been totally emptied and swept clean as it was on the day you moved in.
Q. When is my rent due?
A. Rent is due on the first of every month. If you are on a fixed income, special arrangements can be made so that your rent is due at a specific time to accommodate your budget.
Q. If I am not able to make it in by the first to pay my rent, are there are fees:
A. You do have a 5 day grace period. After 5 days, there is a $10 late fee. If after 20 days, rent hasn’t been paid, there is another $10 late fee.
Q. Do I have to come in to pay my rent:
A. No. You can also mail in a payment or call in a payment with a debit/credit card. You can also be put on automatic billing where your debit/credit card is automatically billed on the day your rent is due. For your convenience we do have an after hours payment box for checks only. We do not accept American Express.
Q. What are your hours?
A. Monday – Friday 7a.m. - 7p.m., Saturday 7a.m. – 5p.m. and Sunday 8:30a.m. – 5p.m. for accessibility. Our office hours are Monday – Friday 7:30a.m. – 6p.m., Saturday 7:30a.m. – 4p.m., and Sunday 9a.m. – 4p.m. We are closed on all major holidays.
Q. Can we get to our unit after hours?
A. No you cannot. For security reasons, you can only access your unit during our above mentioned times.
Q. Do I have to pay a full month rent if I move in after the 1st of the month?
A. No. Your rent is prorated from the day you move in until the end of the month so that your rent is due on the first of every month. However, if you move in within the last (5) days of the month, you pay for the remainder of those days you use and the following month as well.
Q. What if I vacate before the end of the month?
A. We do not rent units for less than 30 days, however if you have been here for longer than 30 days you will receive a refund for the remainder of any unused rent that has been paid for.
Q. How do I receive my refund?
A. If your refund if less than $20, you will be refunded that day. If your refund is over $20, a check will be mailed to your address within 10 business days. If your last payment was by credit card, your credit card will be credited the refund amount immediately. If your last payment was by check, then we will have to wait 10 working days for your check to clear before we can give you a refund.
Q. Do you have anything to use to elevate my stored items?
A. Yes. We have pallets free of charge for your use.
Q. Do you supply a lock for me?
A. No. It is your responsibility to supply your own lock. This way you know you are in total control of who has access to your unit. If you do not bring a lock with you, we do sell them for your convenience.
Q. Is there a contract?
A. Yes. There is a contract but there is no long term commitments. Each time you pay your rent, you automatically extend your contract for 30 days.
